Gangverk and Helix Join Forces to Transform Iceland’s Healthcare System

Gangverk is excited to announce a groundbreaking partnership with health tech company Helix with the clear mission to improve the Icelandic healthcare system. As part of modernizing the country’s existing EHR infrastructure, this project will have a significant impact on the way care is delivered and managed across Iceland.

At the heart of this partnership is our shared belief that healthcare professionals’ time is incredibly valuable, yet too often wasted on repetitive and administrative tasks that could be streamlined through automation. For 30 years, Helix’s team has played a key role in shaping central technical solutions within Iceland’s healthcare system. This includes EHR Saga, Heilsuvera, Hekla health network, and the screening and vaccination systems deployed during the Covid pandemic.
