About ISTQB

The International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) is a global software testing certification organization. ISTQB was founded in 2002 by a group of leading experts in software testing from various countries with the aim to establish an internationally-accepted certification scheme for software testers.

ISTQB has established a Body of Knowledge and guidelines for software testing that are designed to promote efficient and effective testing practices within organizations. The ISTQB certifications are based on this internationally-accepted Body of Knowledge and are recognized globally as the premier certifications for software testers.

ISTQB operates as an umbrella organization with independent certification boards in each country. It offers certifications at Foundation, Advanced, and Expert Levels to ensure software testers have the knowledge and skills needed at various points in their careers. ISTQB certifications are recognized by companies worldwide as a benchmark for software testing competency.

By establishing a common understanding and terminology for software testing concepts and best practices, ISTQB aims to elevate the profession of software testing and promote improved software quality through skilled testing professionals. With over 1 million certifications issued to date, ISTQB has established itself as the leading software testing certification organization worldwide.

Our QA and Testing Services

At Zaelot, our expert QA team provides comprehensive quality assurance and testing services, including:

Functional Testing

We thoroughly test all features and functionality of your software to ensure it works as intended and meets business and user requirements. This includes unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.

Non-Functional Testing

Beyond functionality, we test non-functional aspects like usability, performance, security, and more using techniques like usability testing, load testing, penetration testing, and others.

Automated Testing

Automated tests are created to quickly validate new features and catch regressions. We utilize frameworks like Selenium, Appium, REST Assured, and more to automate web, mobile, and API testing.

Performance/Load Testing

We load test your application to validate it can handle expected user loads and identify bottlenecks before launch. Load testing helps optimize speed and stability.

Stress Testing

Stress tests analyze system behavior under extreme workloads to find the breaking point. This ensures the reliability of your software under high traffic.

Accessibility Testing

Your application is tested for compliance with accessibility standards like WCAG 2.0 to ensure it can be used by people with disabilities.

Systems We Have Tested

Over the years, our QA experts have tested a wide variety of systems and applications. Some of the key systems we have experience with include:

Web Applications

We have designed and executed test plans for complex web applications built with technologies like React, Angular, Node.js, .NET, Java, PHP, and more. Our testing spans functionality, UI/UX, accessibility, security, and more.

Mobile Applications

Our team has tested native iOS and Android apps as well as cross-platform mobile apps built with React Native, Flutter, and other frameworks. We test on both emulators/simulators and real devices.

APIs

We thoroughly test REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs to ensure functionality, performance, reliability and proper integration. Our API testing expertise covers the full testing lifecycle.

Databases

Our QA team has experience testing various SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and others. We validate data integrity, security, scalability, and more.

ETL Processes

We test ETL (extract, transform, load) processes that extract data from sources, transform it, and load it into data warehouses or other destinations. Our testing validates correct data transfers and transformations.

How We Engage in QA Projects

At Zaelot, our QA services are deeply integrated into everything we build internally. We have robust processes and certified experts to ensure quality at every stage of development.

However, a significant portion of our practice is providing QA services for systems and projects built externally by other companies. We are brought in to test, validate, and help solve lingering quality issues.

Our full suite of QA services is available whether we build the system ourselves or are brought in to test someone else's development work. Our ISTQB certified testers enable us to provide rigorous, high-value QA that meets all client needs.
